West Bengal, CBI in action, may soon reveal 264 benami plots related to coal scam: In the 264 plots of coal scam in 4 districts of West Bengal, the distinction of which one is anonymous will soon be revealed. If no one presents their claim, then all these plots will be confiscated by the CBI. The CBI is in full action in West Bengal and on Monday it has summoned two senior police officers for questioning. On the other hand, preparations are being made to issue a red corner notice against TMC leader Vinay Mishra. A look out circular has been issued against Vinay Mishra’s brother Vikas Mishra.
In this CBI documents, it is clear that 264 plots related to the coal scam in 4 districts of West Bengal have been given in a systematic manner. Most of these plants are present in Purulia district of West Bengal. It is alleged that coal was extracted from many of these areas by illegal means. This plant is very close to the coal mines of Eastern Coalfield Limited. The CBI suspects that the coal scam money was also used to buy these plots. At present on the appeal of the CBI, the special court of West Bengal has ordered the DM of these four districts to seize these 264 plots till further orders.
Now the District Magistrate is taking out the notice before taking action to seize these plots. If this plot belongs to someone else, then they should file their objection before the District Magistrate. According to CBI sources, as soon as people file their objections about these plots, they will automatically come under the purview of CBI investigation. In this manner, the path will be opened to find out whose property is benami because the CBI has so far found out that the plots are related to the coal scam. Coal was illegally extracted from these plots and sold to many people in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh at low prices.
Raids were also conducted in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh
In this case, the CBI had raided some places in Madhya Pradesh during the Mughalsarai season of Uttar Pradesh last week. This raid was carried out on those people who had bought the illegal coal from these mines knowing it was illegal. According to CBI sources, these people have also been called to Kolkata for questioning. Also, the CBI has issued a look out circular against Vikas Mishra, brother of TMC leader Vinay Mishra in this case. This look-out circular has been given at all the airports, ports and entry points of the country so that Vikas Mishra does not escape from the country.
The CBI suspects that Vikas Mishra is still in the country and is not being deliberately presented to the CBI. CBI sources believe that Vikas Mishra was present in every meeting with his brother Vinay. Let us know that the CBI has filed a charge sheet against Vinay Mishra, who is said to be special of Mamta Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee, and has also issued his open warrant from the court. The CBI has also issued notice to Kolkata Police IG Kalol Ganai and SP Anurag Saha on Monday for questioning in the cow smuggling case. According to CBI sources, notices were issued to these people earlier but these people did not appear before the CBI and went to the High Court, but the High Court has not given any stay order in this matter yet.
