Ticket booking: Due to the Corona epidemic (Covid-19 Pandemic), the country has been under lockdown for 50 days. The central government has decided to run 15 pairs of passenger trains in some cities including Delhi from Tuesday. For this, the booking of tickets will start at 4 pm today on the official website of IRCTC. Meanwhile, a new guideline has been issued by the Union Home Ministry regarding the running and passengers of these trains.
Railways informed that railway ticket booking counters will still be closed. Platform tickets will also not be issued. Booking of tickets can be done from IRCTC from 4 pm on Monday evening. The trains that the Railways have decided to run from Tuesday are all Rajdhani trains. Middle berths will not be booked in all trains. Railway informed that further information about the train schedule will be given soon.
What are the guidelines: –
>> According to the new guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, only those people who have a confirmed e-ticket will be able to travel in these trains.
>> Only e-ticketed person will be allowed to enter the station, who has e-ticket, only he will be allowed to come to the station by taxi.
>> Only passengers who pass the health checkup and screening on the platform will get permission to travel in these trains. If any person gets any mild symptoms of corona, then they will not be allowed to board the train even after having a confirmed ticket.
>> During the journey in the train, passengers will have to wear masks and use sanitizer. You must also carry a garbage bag with you.
>> Special care will be taken of social distancing in the train. Therefore, there will be no booking of middle birth.
>> It is necessary for passengers to follow the rules of hygiene issued by the Health Ministry for boarding, landing and traveling throughout the journey.
>> Passengers have to reach the station 2 hours before the train time. All trains will run only with limited stops.
>> According to the Railway Ministry, it will be announced from which station the trains are to run only after consultation with the Ministry of Health. The Railway Ministry will issue a separate guideline in this regard, which all passengers will have to follow.
Trains will run in these cities
According to the railway, 15 pairs of special trains will be run from Tuesday. These trains will run from New Delhi to Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneshwar, Secunderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Margao, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi. An effort has been made by the Railways to connect Delhi with most of the state capital or main cities.
