Meanwhile, 75 Minority families headed by Sanjeev Ghosh and Devavrat Pal in the Harishchandrapur assembly constituency of Malda district left Trinamool Congress on Wednesday and joined BJP.
Giving this information, BJP President of Harishchandpur-Dakshin Mandal, Rupesh Aggarwal said, “Minorities are being misled by political parties. Minorities are being intimidated by political parties by denouncing BJP as communal. Gradually, people of the minority communities are being intimidated It is understood which party is communal and which is not. This is the reason that the leaning of the people of the minority community is moving towards the BJP. ”
On the other hand, Harishchandrapur-1 block Trinamool president Manik Das termed the inclusion of minorities in BJP as baseless. The local TMC leader denied this and said that this is just an election stunt.
