CBSE extends the affiliation date to 30 June

CBSE Affiliation: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the date of submission of applications for schools for affiliation. Now applications for school affiliation can be submitted by 30 June. Right now the schools will not have to give any late fees for this.

The CBSE board has also extended the date for upgrading and extension along with submission of applications for affiliation only. The CBSE board has taken this decision in view of the state of Covid-19 infection across the country. In view of the situation created due to the lockdown, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to extend the date of application for affiliation/recognition by the schools.

Let us tell you that CBSE recognizes all schools on the board for 3 or 5 years. After this period, the schools have to apply again for the renewal of accreditation. Apart from this, new schools also have to apply to CBSE for affiliation, change from other board.
