CBSE Board 12th exams canceled due to Corona, decision in PM Modi’s meeting



CBSE 12th Exam 2021 Live Updates: The 12th board examinations have been canceled. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by PM Modi on Tuesday evening. In the meeting, he was informed about the suggestions received from various states and stakeholders and various options emerging out of extensive deliberations. Union Ministers Amit Shah, Prakash Javadekar, Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Nirmala Sitharaman were present in the meeting held through video conferencing. Apart from this, many senior officials of the Union Education Ministry also participated in it.

After the high-level meeting chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on 23 May, Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that the final decision will be taken on or before 12th June examinations. Apart from this, the central government also said in the Supreme Court on Monday that a decision will be taken on the 12th board examinations within two days. Apart from this, the states have also sent their suggestions regarding the conduct of examinations to the Ministry of Education. That is, now just waiting for the decision of CBSE and Union Ministry of Education.
